Questions engineers actually ask.
- Do I need an account before paying?
- No. Enter your email and pay in Stripe. Your report unlocks in the same browser immediately. Completing an account later is optional.
- How does billing work?
- A flat $49 per month, or $490 per year (two months free), until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account, through the Stripe customer portal.
- Is anything locked behind the subscription besides reports?
- No. Calculations, checks, sources, assumptions and scope warnings are free for everyone. Unlocking removes the watermark from report PDFs and enables saves and history.
- Do new calculators cost extra?
- No. Access is platform-wide: every calculator added to Xarpis is included, with no per-tool pricing.
- What does support cover?
- How the software works and how each check is computed - the methodology, the sources, the assumptions. Support does not review, approve or advise on your design; responsibility for the engineering stays with you.
- Can you build a calculator we need?
- Yes. Custom calculators are fixed-scope engagements quoted per specification, including standards research and validation. Email christian@xarpis.com with what you need checked and against which standard.
- How do I cancel?
- From your account page, through the Stripe billing portal. Cancelling stops renewal; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Does a subscription make the results certified?
- No. A subscription removes the watermark from the PDF and nothing else; it changes no input, no check and no result. A report documents a traceable calculation, it does not certify one.
